What a gorgeous little pocket of this very affordable suburb exists. I live right on a winter creek, which is a mere 4m from my front door. At the moment we have kookaburras in the area, and rainbow lorikeets bathe daily in the bird baths. In early spring, the frogs come out to sing. The landscaped gardens and rural outlook of the creek, especially when it's running in the winter-time, all add to the delight of this gorgeous hidden gem, only 10km from the city centre.
