Darlington

"Position, Position, Position: Close to Beaches, Shopping, University & Hospital"

Darlington has it all - quietly tucked away - views if you are lucky - it's clean and green & it is close to everything. Only minutes to Adelaide's biggest shopping centre (Westfield Marion), to a choice of safe beautiful beaches (including Seacliff, Brighton & Glenelg), to Flinders University and to Flinders Hospital. Darlington its own good quiet parks, and it is wedged between three terrific recreation reserves - Eden Hills, Sturt Gorge, and O'Halloran Hill Recreation Park.

And with the new State Aquatic Centre nearing completion (swimming trials will be held there for the London 2012 Olympic Games) at Marion, Darlington just gets better and better for offering easy access to everything without the hassle of any through traffic. Public transport works well to and from this suburb. I love it.

Bridgewater

"Hobart's Best Value Waterfront Suburb in Australia"

It's on the move with new supermarkets, community facilities, choice of schools and child care, magnificent views of the Derwent River and Mount Wellington, and a short drive or bus trip to the Hobart CBD

Hi nose, I think most main streets in Bridgewater are quite good. I am not familiar with small streets and very remoted part of Bridgewater. But I think close to the green point is not a bad idea.
