Arncliffe

"We love Arncliffe!"

We have spent the last five lovely years living in this suburb.

We bought a wonderful old home that we have enjoyed restoring and love the fact that Arncliffe is now taking off.

Having known not very much about this area we settled in very quickly and have found it to be one of the most friendly places we have ever lived.

It is such a comfortable little community, close to the city, the beach, parks, shopping and the South Coast.

It has a number of train stations close by, several convenient strips of shops that are in the process of renovation, two golf courses very close by and the international airport within a couple of minutes drive.

We have seen our house price and everyone elses house price in Arncliffe rapidly increase over the last five years and believe that this exciting little suburb, full of detached federation era houses on medium sized parcels of land and wide streets with ample parking, views and lots of beautiful green trees will become as sort after as the traditional, trendy inner west locales that neighbour this area to the North ( Marrickville, Newtown , St Peters )

Great for

  • Great for parking... No parking meters!
  • Good access to the city, the west and the south
  • Council to upgrade shopping precinct in next two years
  • Close to CBD with good public transport options.
  • Growth potential with lots projects on the card and in progress.
  • Quite suburbs with lots of parks and bike tracks facilities.

Not great for

  • Flight path borders next suburb ( Banksia, Rockdale )
  • More restaurants and cafes needed
  • Busy roads, Forest and Princes Highway
  • Better streetscapes, needs alot more trees and flowers and lighting.
  • Need a large local supermarket(Woolworths and Aldi will open next year)

Who lives here?

  • Professionals
  • Singles
  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • LGBT+
  • Students
  • Beach Lovers
