Gordon Park

"Smallest Suburb in Brisbane"

A small almost boutiquey suburb on the rise. Houses being bought to either renovate or rebuild. Very central suburb. No real ammenities in the actual suburb (small milk bar, Spice Shop/Coffee) but it is within an easy drive of Newmarket, Lutwyche, Stafford, Toombul and Chermside shopping precincts. Bus route through the suburb or short drive to Wooloowin station. Easy access to freeways north and south. No nightlife or restaurants - this really is a residential suburb. Kedron Brook is a short stroll where you have access to kilometers of bike/running paths, creek for dogs etc. There are also several childrens playground in the suburb. There is minimal traffic although a couple of streets are used as thoroughfares to avoid Lutwyche Rd. Crossing over Lutwyche rd can be slow but this is getting better and should further improve when all the infrastructure works are complete (which will also create better access to freeways and will make the run to the airport quicker. A very liveable, centrally located suburb - quiet but close to everything you would need. No local state school which leaves Wooloowin, Windsor or Stafford State Schools or St Anthonys in close proximity. Great suburb for retirees and families. 5min drive from two big hospitals (Prince Charles and RBH). While there is no childcare in the suburb there is plenty of childcare in surrounding suburbs.

Great for

  • Close to City and ammenities
  • Good Transport
  • Access to many km's of bike/running tracks along Kedron Brook
