Urangan
"A great place to start out"
I have lived in Urangan the last 4 years, around the pier in a nice quiet street. I always feel safe walking home at night. Not a bad part of town at all. Our house is very affordable and it's a great place to start out! There is the new shopping centre now and it is clear to see Hervey Bay is growing but ultimately I still don't feel there's enough things for younger people to do.
Great for
- Beautiful beaches
- Climate, low cost of living and the best lifestyle in Oz.
- Good beaches and lovely foreshore
- Peppers Pier Resort - The Bayswater and Salt Cafe
Not great for
- Can be humid in summer.
