Such a lovely, quiet little pocket. Our house (in Empress Avenue) is an easy 10 minute walk to the Seddon village and 15 to Yarraville village, offering a huge variety of fabulous restaurants and cafes. The local Yarraville cinema (The Sun Theatre) is fantastic, with super-spacious seating and the option to enjoy an adult beverage while you enjoy the show. During nice weather, we even walk into Footscray (20-25 mins) to enjoy fantastic Vietnamese Pho or African food!

There's great shopping options around - outside of peak times, it takes only eight minutes to drive to Highpoint shopping centre, 10 to the Docklands, under 10 to the Victoria Markets, or five minutes to the Footscray Markets. The ring road is close by, and the West Footscray train station is nine minutes walk from our house (with about a 15 minute ride into the CBD).

I highly recommend living in Kingsville. After six years, we still think buying here is the best thing we've ever done!
