I lived in the suburb of St. Lucia for many years, and now I don't know how I did it for so long. Traffic, noise, crowds, fast pace, but no more. Forest Lake is peaceful, easy going with everything one needs. The Village for shopping, meeting friends for coffee or dinning out. The lake is a relaxing place to either walk, have a picnic/bbq, or just unwind. There are plenty of places to walk the dog, ride the bike, and parks for the kids to play. Schools, medical centers, dentist, and lots more. Mt. Ommaney, Browns Plains, Redbank and Indooroopilly shopping centers are all a short drive away. The bus service is excellent or you can park and ride at the Richland train station. The Logan Motorway is nearby for travel to the airport or to the Gold/Sunshine Coast. I would not want to live any where else but Forest Lake.
