I have lived in Bedford for a few years now and its a great place to live. Everything you need if nearby or easy to get to. It's got schools, kindergartens, doctors, restaurants, cafes, fast food outlets, Coles, pubs, 24 hours delis and its close to the city or the Galleria. There are various bus routes to town and a taxi ride is less than $20 when needed. There are many parks, footy and cricket grounds and not far to golf courses and swimming pools.The streets are in a grid system which makes it easy to ride or walk around. Most major sporting grounds, the casino and even the beach are all within easy reach.
There is a good mix of housing with many character houses on big blocks or new homes on smaller blocks
