Hooper Street Belgian Gardens is a lovely part of the city. It is 5 minutes to the city & strand by car and 5 minutes on foot to the beautiful Rowes Bay beach and foreshore. Both have parks & play areas for the kids, paths for the runners & cyclists and barbeque areas for those who want to sit and enjoy the views & breezes of Magnetic Island. Anyone living in Belgian Gardens enjoys the best deli & butcher shop in town. Side by side, the weekends see these venues packed with locals enjoying their weekend at the beach & filling their eskies with scrumptious goodies. In the same area is also a liquor store, health food & massage , doctor, dentist , pharmacy and 5 minutes in the car takes you to a grocery store , cafes & restaurants.
