"Best Place To Live On The Central Coast...If You Don't Mind Living Next To Grandma..."

East Gosford is steadily building its reputation as the best retail and eating village on the Central Coast. There is a very nice mix of the old and the new at East Gosford...whether you're talking about people, shops or food. A bakery, a great butcher, very good cafes, a genuine BBQ chicken, extensive newsagent and sub-post office, two new restaurants and a good pub with some very interesting and always helpful characters in the bottle shop.

East Gosford's best kept secret is the skateboard park which is one of the best parks on the Central Coast, offering a challenging 'spine' and 'transition' options for all ages. The second best kept secret is the organic/gourmet food shop found behind the main shops near the second car-park in Gumtree lane. The owner operator has been offering the best fruit, veg, frozen, deli products for some time now; the range is always increasing and you want find a friendlier retailer.

"A Little Known Secret of Kincumber"

Not many people know this but Kincumber Shopping Centre is home to the best coffee on the Central Coast. The Kookaburra cafe sits outside a major shopping chain, but don't be put off...if you like your coffee...the Kooka is easily the best option on the coast. I've also been told that they offer the best sausage rolls as well...imported from "Ludos" of Avoca Beach.
