Henricks Avenue

"Water views from each end of the Avenue"

Drummoyne Avenue was without doubt one of the most prestigious streets in Drummoyne before the developers came in during the 60/70's and bought up all the old mansions and put up some pretty average blocks of flats.

But there are still a lot of lovely houses left in the street with beautiful gardens and water views. Take a walk from one end of the Avenue to the other and there are water views all the way with Rea Reserve at one end and Five Dock Bay at the other.

Street parking is always available and the street is wide and easy to turn around in.

Drummoyne Ave is close to the bus and ferry for a quick trip into the city or just 10 minutes by car.

Great for

  • Water views
  • Beautiful houses with gardens
  • Wide street with lots of parking

Not great for

  • Peak hour on Victoria road.

Drummoyne

"Surrounded by water"

We moved to Drummoyne in 1999 from Five Dock and absolutely love living here. To get to the city is a short bus or ferry ride or I can drive into the city in 10 minutes when peak hour has finished. We almost live on an island linked by the Gladesville and iron Cove bridges with water at each end of the street and more parks than you can walk to in a day.

We go to G Fitness 4 days a week and the Drummoyne Sailing Club offers the best views in Sydney on a Friday night watching the twilight races from the deck with a beer and a glass of wine.

I can do a u-turn in front of my house and can always get parking. There is no better suburb to live in, in Sydney.

Great for

  • Quiet
  • Surrounded by water
  • Safe and secure

Not great for

  • Victoria Rd during peak hour
