Recently I moved to this area from Canterbury. Although I believe that the Canterbury area is the area for me, the house prices are not in my budget. This place is great, I was hesitant to move in to my new 3br house in Berala but now I love it. Nice and quite and the Asian restaurants are to die for. The Pub is recently renovated and the transport is good from the bus system to the train station. I would be putting my child in one of the local schools there soon; I have heard good things about St Peter Channels. Relatively cheep, not far from Parramatta, Bankstown and 20km from the city.
