"Sydney's best kept secret"

I can't tell you about the quiet tree lined streets, or the close proximity to schools, comminuty centres, libraries, healthcare & bus stops. Furthermore I can't tell you about how central this place is because then you will want to live here too.. and then it will be impossible for me to buy a house in the area.
In all seriousness, if you stay away from the ghetto of housing commision on the 'other side of the tracks' and stay on the carlingford side, its like another suburb completly. beautiful.

I live on the other side near the railway station and there is no way one could describe it as "ghetto of housing commission" because it has no housing commission. Or you referring to the valley area, which previously as housing commission, but has changed dramatically. I think you should leave your prejudices behind and join the 21st century and take a look at the area as it is today.
