Georges Hall

"Georges Hall,- where people still say good morning when they pass you in the street."

Always considered the gem of Bankstown's suburbs, Georges Hall is nestled between Bankstown Airport and the sprawling Lake Gillawarna reserve on Henry Lawson Drive. Serviced by an abundance of schools, primary and secondary options, there are child care centrers springing up everywhere. The local shopping centre is great, and the access to Bankstown, Liverpool and the M5 is fabulous either by car or a well serviced network of Buses. Georges Hall is a quiet suburb ideal for families. The kilometers of parkland run along the Georges River and host many festivals and events during the year. Henry Lawson Drive can be a slow go for traffic going AROUND Georges Hall, but locals know the quick ways in and out. Local restaurants are great and at least one offers live music regularly. Many locals are within walking distance of 4 schools, a post office, Dr, Dentist, video store, take away stores and a bottleshop. Not to mention the Squash Courts, tennis courst and golf course, local churches and easy boat ramp access to the river. If you live in Bankstown and want to "move up", Georges Hall is where you head. Bass Hill Plaza is about 2 minutes by car from anywhere in Georges Hall, so shopping is a breeze.
