Salisbury

"Perfection."

I'm biased, I've lived here for most of my life. Salisbury has everything you need close at hand and the rest is minutes away in Sunnybank and Mt Gravatt. New cafes are opening up, including a great new Vietnamese place in Lillian Ave, the Salisbury hotel has good reasonably priced food, a liquor barn and trivia nights. Anytime Fitness is across the road as well as indoor netball and cricket. Two GP practices, Pathology, Chemist and Physio and a Vet. Regis low and high care nursing home, Baptist and Catholic Churches, kindy, primary and soon high school. Great public transport to the city, either by train or bus and Griffith University and QE2 hospital are just next door. I adore it.

Great for

  • Low crime rate
  • Toohey Forest Reserve
  • Country atmosphere
  • Quiet
  • Close to public transport train and bus

Not great for

  • Eastern side under domestic/international flight path.
  • Lack of quality night time restaurants/sporting clubs

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • LGBT+
  • Students
