Mountain Creek just got even better with the now finished Brightwater Residential Estate. The new housing estate has added yet another lake (this one a huge12 ha in size) to the already existing 2 lakes found in the older area of Mountain Creek. The newest lake is stunning. It boasts landscaped walk/bike paths and large open parks and like the rest of Mountain Creek is only 3kms from the beautiful beaches of Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters. Locals love to ride along the cycle paths from Brightwater to Mooloolaba and have a swim and a lazy lunch at the beach. Being so close, you can't help but feel part of the beach and waterside community while enjoying the peaceful benefits of not having to live on the busy holiday accommodation strip.

Residents are also spoilt for shopping centres and good schools. The area also boasts a golf course and 2 taverns; the latest is the Brightwater Tavern that, for very good reason, is the meeting place of choice for many locals and admirers of quality and good taste. Located adjoining the lake with park and playgrounds the Tavern is a great place for the weekend catch-up with friends and family.
