We live in a brilliant part of Langwarrin, it is quiet, the neighbours are friendly without being overbearing and people care about their homes. We love knowing the people in our area are security conscious but aren't 'nosey neighbours.' Yearly court parties are a great way of keeping in touch. There is very little hoon behavour in our quiet court and no problem at all with gangs of teenagers roaming the streets.
We have lived here for nearly 5 years and love the peace and quiet, minimal traffic and noise and great places to walk alone or with the dog. Having a 5 minute trip to the beach is great as is the flora and fauna park just down the road.
Overall we feel incredibly lucky to live in a quiet, friendly neat environment as we moved from the country and were genuinely scared about horror stories of traffic/gangs/graffiti/annoying or rude neighbours, none of that has been a problem for us at all.
Steadily rising house prices is also a huge bonus, it is nice to know moving to the area has paid off financially as well as in terms of lifestyle.
