Property prices in Cairnlea are hitting the roof. If you have a big family and pets and need living space plus a big backyard be ready to spend good money. And if you have a fat pocket why living in the West? Hard choice when in closeby surrounding suburbs you could get a huge land or a house to be renovated to your taste with the same money. I believe Cairnlea is overvaluated.
Some houses are more glitter than value, beautifully staged but cheap in construction. Also there are no decent high schools nearby. The local primary is average and it has been falling down lately as it's grown a lot. Cairnlea Shopping centre and services are quite basic, almost dead, shops dont survive long. We have to close down our own business due to lack of passing by public. Its not improving, unless they bring new commercial highlights to the area.be ready to move around if you need to buy something a bit more sophisticated.
