Warialda

"Clean Air and Country, Safe and very Affordable"

If you are looking to settle down in a safe home with clean air and all services then you can't go past Warialda. The town facilities are excellent, catering for all age groups and with all levels of quality schooling available, you and your children would reap the benefits immediately.
Our town boasts numerous sporting bodies, community groups and specialised events every year with major support from larger towns so keeping active and healthy is very easy.
The older historic buildings are enjoyed by all and a strong community pride exists here so if you have an interest in living in a community with this, then you will not be disappointed.
Looking for night life? - With both Moree and Inverell just down the highway, you can satisfy those cravings easily AND live in peace and safety, right here in Warialda.
Many of the locals travel 5-6 hours annually and in school holiday periods, over to the Coast, being able to access Queensland and northern New South Wales holiday spots using safe and reliable roads, but if you want to just swim, then this Shire has many spots to access the wonderful Gwydir River and of course, local swimming pools.
The affordability of housing and shire rates makes Warialda a well- kept secret at the moment, but don't shilly-shally, coastal retiress are sick of the influx of city dwellers into their first choice ex-city moves and are actively moving across the Great Divide into the Gwydir Shire, and notably, into Warialda.
Health reasons often influence choices people make when considering a move, here in Warialda our 2009 purpose built hospital, with ancillary facilities is a factor to keep in mind.
Our General Practioners run a superb medical clinic and can look after your health needs with no fuss, a very different picture in other centres today!
Our water supply has never been rationed, we Warialdaites would not know what to do if this ever happened, we are so lucky to have clean water, naturally filtered through local sandstone available every day, making growing some vegetables and gardens a glorious past time.
Shopping is catered for on a daily basis, a long standing local newspaper, all the shops you will need to supply yourself and all within walking distance - or cycling!
Give yourself a new grasp on life, come to welcoming Warialda and spent the rest of your life!

I think you live somewhere else. The locals won't talk to you and there is NOTHING to do. The water tastes disgusting and I have to filter mine as it is bore water. The soil is sand and grows every weed imaginable. I've seen people move here and they don't stay long when they realise how boring it is. There are sporting facilities, but no one uses them. Can't wait to get out.
