New Farm

"Dump the car, kitchen and tv, and battle your nemesis on foursquare for mayor"

Pay $80 for breakfast in your overpriced uber skinny jeans, but it will be worth it for the sound of the vintage MV Agusta starting over out front. Brag about your bargain and oh so non replica designer furniture in any of the hundred or so restaurant or cafes, and enjoy the street theatre that walking access to local clubs and nightlife engenders.

Great for

  • Art galleries on constant rotation
  • CBD commuters
  • Beautiful suburb with historic circa homes
  • Restaurants, cafes, bars and social activites
  • The river, parks, bicycle tracks and walk ways

Not great for

  • Expensive to purchase only for elite investors seeking capital growth long term

Camp Hill

"Grow your family with the suburb..."

"the best places are 4 blocks from your door" -miss M, NY, NY.

Camp hill reminds me of new farm of 15 years ago, when the suburb was filled with a friendly and diverse ethno-demographic mix, 2 art galleries, only Coles was open til 9pm, you always could find a park and travel was an easy 20 mins to the CBD.

Camp hill offers the same today, with friendlier neighbors, some of the best community sporting facilities ( best FINA club with the holland park hawkes, great swim and triathlete with Clem Jones centre), a 'crackerjack' of an annual festival and ready access to many other sporting facilities and parks.

Public transport is mostly zone 2 ( same as west end / new farm ) and there is an imperially large number of state, council and private projects building up infrastructure and commercial/domestic spaces.

Great for

  • Amazing wildlife for the animal lovers
  • Excellent community sporting facilities
  • Neighbors with genuine 1950's courtesy
  • 6km to city, nice leafy suburb wih great views
  • Great access to Express bus to city
  • Great access to shopping centres, cafes, takeout
