Cottage Road

"Quiet and safe cul-de-sac"

‘Cottage Road’ formally an old farm estate; the original grand home still standing.

The land was sub-divided in 2005 into large blocks ranging between 1200 sqm to 1500 sqm. The streetscape is varied with all bar 2 being newly built residences, landscaped gardens developing, and a sense of pride in everyone’s yards. Whilst some gardens are yet to be established, everyone is making the ground work with planting hedges, garden beds and lawns. Not as uniformed as Wisteria Lane (from the popular TV show Desperate Housewife’s) but still charming, pretty and quiet.

Access is easy from the southern outlet heading south of Hobart CBD just 8 mins.
Schools (both private and state)and shops are easily accessible, just a short stroll or a 2 minute drive. With Kingston Beach Golf Club a 2 minute drive from your door step and the newly upgraded Kingborough sports centre a 6min drive (including tennis, basket ball, netball, indoor soccer, dancing, squash, racket ball, zumba and much, much more), everything you’ll need to lead either a relaxed or busy sporting life is close at hand.

Glorious mountain views in both summer and winter when the mountain is at its best, sun rise over Bonnet Hill and sunsets over the hills of Kingston.

A great street to raise kids or simply retire knowing you’re in a safe, friendly, yet quiet and private community.
