Jersey Road

"Unique village feel yet 15 mins from CBD"

Jersey Road is one of three streets running directly off Hampden Road in the middle of Artarmon village. It has apartments and townhouses in it and faces south with great far-reaching views across the suburb to Sydney Tower and the CBD from the upper level apartments. Most blocks have about 50-60 units in them and about 8-10 levels. Thomson Park is in the centre of Jersey Rd and is a great area for kids. It is flat with basketball courts, cricket nets and a kids' playground. Jersey Road is a 5 min walk from the station yet receives barely any train noise - especially past 5 Jersey Road. Jersey Rd connects to Reserve Road which leads to the on-ramp for the Cahill Expressway to the CBD and the Lane Cove Tunnel. Some years ago the council fixed up the village with new paved sidewalks and so forth. The village is utterly charming with every shop you could need - a post office, dry cleaners, grocer, 3 convenience stores, banks, take-away shops, small restaurants/cafes, hairdressers, a beautician, chemist, newsagent, liquor shop and patisseries. Very pleasant long-term shopkeepers and very friendly village vibe. The suburb is also very leafy and quiet.

Great for

  • Close to the well-regarded Artarmon Public School
  • 5 min stroll to village, shops and train station
