Wirra Dr

"By the river"

Staying in temporary acommodation here in the New Port - just newly arrived from WA and to be honest it is a really nice little place with great views of the river where you can see dolphins almost on a daily basis. There are nice walks along the river if you have dogs and the people are friendly enough although I barely see any of the neighbours, which isn't always a bad thing. It is really quiet in this area and the traffic isn't too bad, even on the weekends. West Lakes shopping centre is about a 7 minute drive and it's a really nice mall with everything you could possibly want from a mall. Semaphore is 5 minutes up the road and it's a lovely little place with lots of history, a great foreshore and lovely restaurants. The IGA is open until 10pm there which is always a boost and the Semaphore Odeon Cinema is a brilliant old place which offers $8 tickets every day of the year for every new movie - I love it! So all in all my first experience of living in Adelaide here in New Port has been a very positive one. I hear this is an up and coming area and believe it will thrive.
