"Take the good with the bad."

VERY GLAD to get out of Melbourne. LOVE living in the country. So much to do. Make sure your ONLY buy in a nice place or close to the city. As close to the city will improve as the town population grows. CRIME and unemployment are problems in all country towns. Make sure one of you has a job. Or can commute to Melbourne. Cheap entry prices. Moved with teenagers and we have been able to find Good educational opportunities here for them.

You don't really live "in the country" here... you live near it, sure, but not IN it.
