Mango Hill

"A hill lacking infrastructure and planning"

Mango hill holds promise but as part of the planned North Lakes community it is lacking plenty in infrastructure (the train line is coming) and social options (only a few places to eat out but the parks are nice). What it is not lacking in is new houses filled with commuters to clog up the Bruce Highway. This is a suburb that is all dressed up with nowhere to go.

Great for

  • Clean

Not great for

  • Needs more restaurants
  • Mobile reception
  • Traffic congestion to the city

Grange

"Love an old English name"

Grange is supposedly derived from Granary (an old English word for mill), this suburb is well located close to the city, parks (just south of the Kedron brook), cafes and shopping (Kedron Park Road), universities, it is in the Wilston school catchment predominantly and is full of old Queenslanders. The tunnels add to an already nearby network of major arterial roads while the suburb itself is quiet and leafy.

Great for

  • Lots of parks
  • Close to major arterial roads
  • Lots of history
  • Cafes and shops close by
  • Clean, leafy suburb
  • Quiet
