Upper Coomera

"Coomera Springs - Ideal family Lifestyle"

We have lived in Coomera Springs for two years, and have found it to be a fantastic family neighbourhood. Where do I start - we have like minded neighbours who watch our house, our kids and the neighbourhood (peace of mind!! - You know who you are), we have a great local primary school which we WALK our children to each day (and close to CAC where they will go to highschool). The Woolworths complex down the road is very handy for full grocery shops or forgotten items (unfortunately I have to call in their everyday!! (and I recomend the Chinese for Friday night take out)). It is the ideal location, close enough for my husband to travel to Brisbane every day for work, yet we still have the luxury of living on the Coast (Paradise). The most impressive and comforting thing about where we are now, is how happy our kids are. We have lived in three locations and this is by far the happiest and most settled they have been. We are 5 minutes from the oval where nearly every day we walk to play on the equipment, walk the dog and kick the ball. We walk 10 min down the road at least twice a week to the lake where we feed the ducks (3 families this year of ducklings) and eels (argh!), and the BBQ's in the parks have hosted many a Sunday afternoon sausage sizzle. The area and parks are fabulous for riding and scooters, it's a great place to live and a great pace for families!!

Hi there and thanks for your positive and encouraging comment... We are thinking of moving from Brisbane to Coomera Springs, just as a live style change. I have three primary school kids, do you have any school children? I would be interested in your opinion about the local schools. Also, are there any other parks for kids apart the one at the lake, many thanks
