Fernvale

"Closer than you think!"

I love Fernvale, i love the small town feel but with modern ammenities and with access to the Warrego Highway in 10 minutes it's not too far out to commute. We bought our home in Honeywood Estate well over a year ago and were surprised at how friendly and quite the area has been. NBN to our door, a great shopping centre down the road and everything is within walking distance. We moved from Brisbane and have really enjoyed the change. The weekends are always busy in town with the bakery, markets on a Sunday and with Wivenhoe Dam just down the road, there is always something to do. No regrets about moving to Fernvale.

How about the flooding? This area was affected in the last one.

Bellbird Park

"Hard to believe were in suburbia"

I have lived in Perdita Street for a few years now and often sit out on my back deck and forget im in suburbia. The wonderful sounds of the birds in the morning and afternoon is so relaxing. I love the greenness of the suburb and the neighbourly spirit of everyone in our street. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Perdita Street to anyone.

Not great for

  • Stuggle to find any - cant find any!

Looking for a long term lease rental accom, and found a home in Redgum Court..can anyone tell me whether ADSL Broadband is available in this area...? very important, as we're now living on 8 acres at Buccan( Logan area) and are on Satellite which is very expensive and very inefficient to our needs..also do buses regularly service this area...any help would be very helpful ((*_*))

We are with Telstra and have ADSL2 which supports 3 xboxs, 3 laptops and 2 desktops not to mention the Ipods etc (alot of teens in our home!). We dont generally have issues with our internet. Bus services aren't the best but not the worst. My kids use the public transport system, our only complaint would be a more regular service. Hope this helps!!
