Wallace Street

"Frustration !"

Wallace St is located directly behind Waratah Village shopping centre in Waratah. It is therefore extremely handy to supermarkets and other stores, eg: pharmacies, bakeries, video stores, food outlets etc.
Traffic in adjoining Coolamin Rd can sometimes become busy due to the shopping centre, particularly at busy times of the year such as Christmas when our street is full of shoppers cars.
There is a retirement village at the end of the street, and there are also quite a few elderly people living in the area.
There are several dogs in the area, one in particular which barks continuously, and it appears that it's owners are not bothered by this which can become very frustrating at times. There are also quite a few children in the area, some of which are very loud late at night.
We have had a few mice within our home, which we suspect could be attracted to and coming from either of the two chicken coops in the street.

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
