Moulden

"Moulden - a great place to live if nothing else is available"

There might be nice areas in Moulden, but I don't live in one. In three months, two units in my block have been broken into. My car has been broken into. Personal property has been stolen. Drug paraphenalia (including a syringe) has been found in my backyard. At night, you fall asleep to the soothing sounds of screaming neighbours. The public transport might be reliable, but I wouldn't know because I wouldn't ever catch it for fear of being stabbed for the $20 in my wallet. There are no shops within walking distance (not that I'd feel safe there anyway) and there is nowhere to eat out. Moulden also does not have ADSL2 broadband access, but looking at my list that is definitely the smallest of my concerns about the area. The best thing about Moulden is that it is within walking distance from Palmerston, perfect for carrying cartons of VB back to community housing blocks. If you intend to live here, make sure you inspect your property first and check for signs in adjacent yards that say "no alcohol", because you can guarantee there'll be plenty of it... and the empty beer bottles will be thrown into your yard, where the broken glass will create a challenging and stimulating playground for your pets and small children. I would not recommend Moulden for anyone earning more than $200 per week, because if you own anything of value, it will be stolen.
