I love this street!
It is within a 10 minute walk to everything! Highpoint Shopping Centre, parkland, transport, nightlife, cinemas, restaurant, local shops, the Maribyrnong river etc. Anything you could ever want is within a 10 minute walk.
In peak hour, the drive into the city takes 15 minutes (loads of shortcuts!).

One thing I love about the Gatehouse estate, especially the double digit addresses in this estate is their larger and roomier floorplans as compared to other apartments in the area. This estate is in the best location in my opinion (and not only because I lived here), but it is definitively in the middle of everything! Lived here for 3 years, loved being able to go shopping anytime I liked just by walking out the door, or if I wanted quiet reflection time, a quick walk down the road brings me to a peaceful park by the Mribyrnong river.

This suburb has it all!
Its proximity to the city, shops, parklands, schools, transport ... basically everything that a family needs!
It is close to the city, yet still retains that suburban feel to it. It does not feel busy and rushed as other "close to the city" suburbs (eg. Richmond etc.) feels. There is lots to do, but aside from the shopping centre precinct, just the next road down, it is quiet and peaceful. Living here, I have been able to be close to everything (shops, city for work etc.) but whenever I want to take a breather or just to relax, it is just a walk in the other direction! It literally meets all my needs in one location!
Driving in to the city is easy (nowhere near the drive from the South Eastern suburbs where I grew up).
I would recommend this suburb to anyone! Growing families, singles, couples, and even retirees will enjoy living here!
