I lived most of my life in Moulden and was glad to leave!! Bad area for crime, all 4 of my tyres were slashed by a kid who admitted he had nothing better to do!! There's nothing for kids to do, hoons and gangs running havoc in the streets, along with kids chroming. Avoid it at all costs!! If it's absolutely necessary, then get yourself two very big dogs with a vicious bark, 6 foot fences, security screens, and any other security measure you can think of! When I was a kid, a man was murdered on our school grounds and left for school children to find on their way to school. Not a place you want to bring up your kids!

All amenities are within walking distance, take away, public transport and train station. However it is a busy area with lots of traffic and many back packer hostels. It is prone to crime so be sure to have security on your home.

We lived in East Bundy for almost 3 years, in a small complex of 6 units. The area was peaceful most of the time. Hoons would drive up and down Telegraph Road and the ring road. There are parts that are not so nice, but we were close to the new estate near the ring road and found it was pretty good. Our wheelie bin was stolen on several occassions but I guess that's because the lack of facilities for kids and teenagers. There isn't much to do in Bundaberg, and am hoping to leave in the next 6 months or so. Bundaberg has high unemployment, centrelink line out the doors, rent un-affordable and increasing!
