Phillips Street

"Top of the Ridge"

Phillips St runs east-west over the top of the Ridge, and so it has lovely views of the mountains to the west and Moreton Bay towards the east. It has become a through-road to an extent, and carries its fair share of traffic at peak times, such as school drop-off time, but is remarkably quiet at other times.

Phillips St forms a boundary between the 'new' Enbrook Heights estate (now at least 15 years old) and the 30 to 40 year old section full of wonderful large architect designed homes. There is a range of people living in Phillips St, from young family renters through to the long-established oldies who built new 30 to 40 years ago.

Bracken Ridge is a lovely suburb, green and leafy, and an undiscovered secret in many ways. Our neighbours either side are wonderful, although being a long and busy road (for Bracken Ridge) we tend not to know our neighbours living further afield.
