As the title says, even Mannering Park residents don't know about Kenneth Place! It is a no through road that leads you straight to the beautiful Lake Macquarie. The residents are all friendly and know each other. They all meet up for a lakeside Christmas party each year. The street is very quiet apart from the occasional laughter from a soccer game between neighbours.
A lovely flat ten minute walk to the shops and school.

A gorgeous little town at the southern end of Lake Macquarie. Surrounded by water MP comes to a point that has swimming baths, boat ramp, barbecues and picnic facilities. The local school is fantastic and encourages community involvement. Lots of other activities such as belly dancing, scouts, CWA, rural fire service, playgroup and fitness classes for all ages. The Tidy Towns group do a fantastic job and have made massive improvements over the past few years. There is a waterfront caravan park, bike path, skate park, tennis and basketball courts. Possums, pelicans, galas and lorikeets are common, as are kangaroos.
Fantastic beached are ten minutes away, as are two decent shopping centres. Westfield is twenty minutes away.
