Kernot Street

"A Hidden Gem"

Takes me 10 minutes flat to get to Port Melbourne every morning in peak hour
7km from the city, also 30min max to airport either Ring Road or CityLink
Yarraville, Altona Gate and Williamstown shopping precints only 5km drive each way
Very low traffic as speed humps on road deter drivers cutting through from Newport and Williamstown
Freight trains can be annoying sometimes, probably a few times a week we hear the freight trains early in the morning (don't hear them now)
Vernon Street runs parallel and offers, Licenced cafe, IGA, Coffee/fruit shop Milkbar, Hairdressers and more ( a great resource without the busy street)
Not really a singles spot as only a few Pubs, cafes close by.
3km to water however 5km to start of running track at Newport
Newport Lakes is a great spot for a walk, run, BBQ or a cruisy after with your kids/pets
After living in the area we would need to move to Albert Park or Middle Park to look at leaving here
