Clontarf

"Good for seniors, Families and Tourists"

Clontarf is good if you are older/have a family or you want to live in a place that reminds you of the 70's.

My sister lives on a good street, yacht st. If you are a family move around yacht street.

The primary school side where my mum lives is a mixture of lower income people, drug users and retirees.

At my mums while visiting my car was siphoned for fuel and had our cat hurt by someone. Obviously this could happen anywhere its not just the area.

Surrounding areas of clontarf are much better like; Scarborough, Redcliffe or Newport (is really nice). The people in newport are more modern.

The city is approx. 40 min using a toll which is nearly 5 dollars one way and without tolls it would be a 50 min trip minimum.

Another thing is;
if you have young primary school kids this area is okay but if you have teenagers or you are a young adult avoid Redcliffe at all costs! It soooo boring! To be honest the senoirs have the most fun here.

Great for

  • Nice views of the esplanade
  • Very quiet
  • Great Medical Centre

Not great for

  • Overpriced takeaways
  • No fruit and veggies shops
  • Only IGA and Aldi Supermarkets

Who lives here?

  • Families with kids
  • Retirees
  • Tourists
  • Beach Lovers

Not a very good reviewer.. you sound like you have tickets on yourself, a very unrealistic person, who is very hard to please. Only Aldi and IGA! Oh no!!!! Drive 10mins to Westfield North Lakes.
"A mixture of lower income people, drug users and retirees" is the side where your Mum lives. What gives you such expertise to define what type of residents live there? Are you describing yourself? And also, did you actually have more than 5 liters of petrol in your car... I dont think so...
