"A very underated leafy suburb"
Situated 26km north west of the Sydney CBD, approximately 5km from the Parramatta CBD, and 12km from Macquarie Park; North Rocks is located within a relatively close distance to employment areas. North Rocks also contains a substantial industrial precinct that mainly caters for light industrial uses.
The area is typified by a mix of single and two storey dwellings developed in the 60s and 70s. Some medium density housing in the form of townhouses exist along North Rocks Road. The area contains dense bushland which includes Lake Parramatta Reserve, Seville Rerseve and Bidjigal Reserve.
The area is also serviced by a Westfield Shopping Centre comprising of several large retail chains including K-Mart, Coles, Audi and Franklins. The area also contains several neighbourhood restuarants and services such as medical centres, dental clinics, accountants and solicitors.
