My wife and I have lived and worked in Bundanoon for over 22 years. Both of us born in Bowral we moved here to escape what Bowral was becoming (even back then) an overcrowded mecca for the rich and effluent.
Bundanoon offers the last real community in the highlands; the people are friendly and always willing to get involved with community activities, sporting organisations, charities etc.
Yes the demographic is mainly in the 35+ age group with a relaxed and refined outlook on life which adds to the depth of community spirit and makes this a fantastic place to raise children in a safe, nurturing environment.
Bundanoon adjoins the Morton National Park and offers spectacular views, walks and recreation areas.
Situated within 1.5hrs of Sydney or Canberra, 1hr to Wollongong, Shell Harbour, Kiama, Nowra, 45mins to Goulburn, 30mins to Mittagong, 20mins to Bowral, 10 Mins to Moss Vale.
I can highly recommend Bundanoon as a peaceful, friendly and beautiful place to live with everything else just far enough away to make you really appreciate coming home.
