Boundary Street

"Quiet and Close - Great place to Live"

Boundary Street is not a busy one, the only time anywhere near Glenvale has heavy traffic is the three or four times a year when the close-by showgrounds has an event. This only lasts for two or three days at the most. I have lived in Boundary Street for seventeen years and almost never have had issues with noise polution. I hear sirens in this street about once every two or three years, they simply aren't around.

The blocks are all large ones and are great for kids to play in and for privacy. Never have I come across an unfriendly neighbour and I have lived in two different houses on this street.

As for being close to places - There are several great primary schools within walking distance, as well as High Schools with high reputations such as Harristown SHS and Concordia College that are just seven minutes away. It takes only 10 - 15 minutes (depending on traffic) to get down town and around five to get to the local shopping centre "Clifford Gardens". The largest ten pin bowling centre in Toowoomba "Sunset Superbowl" is only a five minute drive away. I have been many times and have enoyed it emensly. There are also several great local churches within two minutes drive.

Just two minutes down the road is "Club Glenvale" that has been reccomended to me several times, though unfortunately I have never joined, simply because I kept forgetting. But it is said to have very nice food and very reasonable membership fees.

Surrounded by native trees and pleanty of big spaces, with a park 15 minutes walk away Boundary Street really has the country atmosphere whlie still being close to the city.

If you're a fan of walking, there are beautiful walks around this area, and if you go quite early in the morning you are likely to see a wallaby or two in the paddoks near the lower end of Boundary street.

I love living here and would definitely reccomend it to anyone.
