"This is the best place in Hervey Bay"
River Heads is quite simply, in my opinion the best place to live in Hervey Bay. I live in what's called Turtle Cove Estate which is part of River Heads. The views of Fraser Island and the Great Sandy Straits and also west inland are second to none. Its a great place to live if you have a family or just a single or a couple. There is a community hall which is always having functions and are open every friday night for meals and drinks, so a great place to meet people if your new. We are a friendly bunch here and range from retired people to young families. I myself work in Hervey Bay as a Real Estate agent, so I feel have a good judgement of an area, and I would not live anywhere else. Its only 8 to 10 minutes to town and schools, although thereis a school bus, I drive it every day and its not far, especially when can live in such a special place.
I have read the other review posted and don't think that person would have even visited the area judging by their comments. Judge for yourself and come and see us, make up your own mind.

Oh boy all the stuff I am reading is concerning, , especially the over abundance of snakes from what I can imagine. .we move down in two weeks and now thinking...what have we done
I agree!! it is the Best Place to Live, I would not live any where else, Great people! Safe Area! and the View's! Sea Breezes ! are second to none.
Come a see for yourselves, you won't want to leave!
I also read the other negitive comment ................if you live here move!
If you dont then come and visit and see for yourself, don't listen to people, half have not been since the horse and cart!
