We've lived in Wellington Point for the past 2 years and have found it to be a great place for us to raise our young family. It's a quiet, friendly and beautiful suburb and i'd probably rate it as certainly the best of all bayside suburbs. It's attractive with many tree linded streets. Our children are not yet of school age but the child care facilty is close, convenient and with a good reputation. There is good acess to a number of private and public schools all within walking distance however i'm not entirely sure of the strength of their results...however the feedback i've received has generally been positive.

The point does get very busy on weekends - often visited by out of towners but during the week it is fairly quiet and a great way to entertain the kids. The restaurants are good but nothing special - typical of the suburbs. The place is often packed out by cyclists on the weekend.

In conclusion, Wellington Point is a beautiful place to live, particularly for those wishing to raise a family on more than a standard 400-600m2 block.
