"Great Location - close to the city, parks, schools and shops. You can have it all"
Bedford Street is in North Willoughby between High Street and Warrane in the patch of houses bounded by High Street, Victoria St, Edinburgh Rd and Eastern Valley Way.
Transport in Willoughby is sensational. Bedford Street is within 3 minutes walk of 2 major bus routes to the city that go down Eastern Valley Way and Penshurst Street and both include express and normal buses. There are just 4 sets of traffic lights between Bedford Street and the City so driving is also easy.
Good local schools in the area including St Thomas' at the end of the street and Willoughby Public School a 10 minute walk away.
The street is not as pretty as some of the surrounding streets and has a mix of federation and modern houses. Most houses have been or are being renovated so the street gets better all the time. Real estate agents in the area nominate the best streets and often include Glover Street, Alexander Street and Warrane which are three of the surrounding streets - Bedford is left out due to its eclectic mix of architecture but the location is better than each of those 3.
Street is very friendly and houses are rarely sold in the street which results in a nice community atmoshere without being intrusive
The street is very narrow and parking is often annoying for those that do not have their own garage/carport.
