"Paradise most affordable beachside property"
Toogoom is a lovely seaside community with modern affordable houses and plenty of employment opportunities for those who want to work although most work is either in Hervey Bay or FIFO or DIDO
in mining industry like most of Queensland.with many options in Hervey Bay to be trained on different mining machinery http://www.beta.edu.au/mining-training-courses.html.
with daily transport to centro/stocklands and Hervey Bay less then 15mins drive better shopping then most Queensland coastal cities and schooling that well IMHO is the best public primary school in Queensland that cares about its student's why wouldn't you live here.
and for those who like to speculate so your investing in the bowen/gailee/gladstone areas
might want to research the mining explorations in the Hervey bay Marybourough area instead of following the heard.

hi we are currently looking to purchase land and build in toogoom , spent a week looking around , interested in 3 blocks , came across this site with negative comments , second thoughts now!! glorified slum ?
Buy the land and build. Toogoom is absolute paradise on the beach and 15 minutes from town. Forget the negative comments from whingers (you'll always get them) and come and enjoy!
Hi, we are looking to seachange & came across Toogoom. We're after a quieter life rather than the hustle-bustle of the city. Saw a couple of properties/sites of interest. Desmond Drive, Lewis Court & Porpita Circuit, are these in the better part of the town? Also, is town available to the township? TIA

Town water and mains sewerage is to all houses. Porpita is a new area; all good areas. Love Toogoom.
