Having lived in the area since 2005. Easily connected via bus to the city. Beautiful local businesses, cafes and Walkerville Tce is undergoing great rejuvenation. The property prices are high but have faced some stagnation in recent times. Great lifestyle with parks, ovals, tennis courts and always friendly people and neighbours about.

Walkerville is Home to Linear Park, one of the best riding tracks in Adelaide. Walkerville have incredible houses on every street.

Walkerville is only 8 minutes to the CBD (10 minutes in current traffic)

Walkerville has some lovely parks, which have been well kept and neighbours look after it.

Of course, the neighbours in Walkerville are super friendly, they will say hello to you when you stroll in the street or River Torrens. They will also look after one another. Also, they will look after there houses incredibly well.

The construction of the Walkerville Shopping Centre is looking good. They still need to finish it, but they just need to fix those bits and peices.

The streets in Walkerville are absolutely huge. So visitors will be quite surprised when they see these big streets in Walkerville.

Also, the Internet Access is excellent, it runs really fast.

So if you want a safe and quiet lifestyle, then Walkerville is the place.

What i like about Walkerville is that its not just a nice suburb with nice houses its also a small community within... It reminds me of Dalkeith, Western Australia with tree lined streets & quaint shops ie. IGA, Bakery, Fresh fruit and Veg, Butcher, Book Shop, Newsagent & all other necessities located around Walkerville Terrace... Walkerville has everything at your finger tips.. North Adelaide's boutique shopping preceint, Norwood parade & CBD all so close. Walkerville will not disappoint..

Walkerville is like a little town within a city. The area is very historic and features many beautiful Victorian stone houses as well as the newer mansions (many built in the Victorian style). It's an area for wealthy people, so expect to see lots of Mercedes and BMWs driving around :) This also means that some of the shops on Walkerville Tce are a little pricey. Walkervile Primary School is EXCELLENT and one of the most sought-after public schools in SA. You can try to enrol, but you won't be accepted unless you live in the zoned area. The proximity to the Linear Park make this a fantastic suburb to live in if you like recreation. There are good walking tracks and bike tracks as well as playgrounds and the river. All of this is within 5-10 mins from the CBD. Perfect!! It's one of Adelaide's most prestigious addresses.

One of the premier locations in Adelaide. There is a reasonable blend of houses around from the lovely Tudors on big blocks to the units and townhouses. All of which are maintained and the roads are nice and wide. Walkerville shops service the area well although there isn't that big supermarket in the area.

Walkerville backs up against a great part of Linear park which makes for a nice walk run or ride. However, it’s equally nice to ride, walk and run in Walkerville itself with its tree lined streets and beautiful houses.

Walkerville is within walking distance of the city and it’s not a long walk, maybe 25 minutes.
However, for all its benefits you will definitely pay for it. It is one of the most expensive areas in Adelaide.

Situated just a 5 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD, Walkerville is one of Adelaide’s prestigious suburbs. With a number of grand old homes with spacious gardens, it is expensive to buy but for good reason.

The suburb centres around Walkerville Terrace, which has a collection of coffee shops, casual pubs and smaller stores. There is a major shopping complex under construction (due to be completed in the next couple of years).

On the edge of the River Torrens, it is the perfect location for those who love to go walking or jogging. The suburb is well set up for families, with nearby schools including St Andrews (a private primary school), Walkerville Primary, Wilderness (a private girl's school) and St Peter's College (a private boy's school).

Walkerville is very well situated on the edge of Adelaide, and close to North Adelaide (with a huge range of cafés, restaurants and pubs) and Magill (with the Avenues shopping complex). There are frequent buses to the heart of the CBD.

Overall, Walkerville is a picturesque suburb with all you need in easy reach for a comfortable city life and great lifestyle.
