"Yarra Valley but on doorstep of Metro!"

So close to Lilydale yet so tranquil! The best of both worlds!

"Perfect rural/suburban blend"

I love Wandin. I love the big back yards, the larger acreage properties, the Warburton Trail, I love the horse riding facilities and local riding clubs. Wandin is close to everything but hasn’t lost its ‘country feel’.

Peace and traquility is what Wandin has to offer... Large yards for the children to play in...
Good schools... Close to bus stops and only 5min to the train if you work in the city...
Local football basket ball netball & tennis clubs... Great place to bring up children...
Close to the trendy resteraunts in Olinda... The Dandenongs & Wineries...
Once you live in the Yarra Valley you will never want to live anywhere else...

"Great lifestyle and still close to everything"

Fabulous place to live where you can enjoy the best of the Yarra Valley, including wineries and restaurants, whilst having some peace and quiet. The surrounds are green and the gardens well established. The people are friendly, and the local produce is fresh and readily available at the local shops. It's a great place to raise a family with excellent access to public transport and quality schools. It's a great place for couples and singles too, with the great local eateries and wineries, and still under an hour to the centre of Melbourne. It's also a great place for retirees- there are excellent facilites, local community support, safe and friendly environment and a terrific location to launch all your retirement activities like travel, eating out and spending time with family. The blocks are generously sized, giving people the opportunity to entertain at home, and the parks and gardens in the area support community activities. The Warburton Trail is nearby for joggers, walkers and cyclists, and Wandin is close to other tourist areas such as the Dandenongs, Mount Donna Buang and the Yarra Valley. I love it!

Rentals in Wandin North

"Country feel without too much distance from the city."

Wandin North is only 5 min out of Lilydale. It is surrounded by pasture land and bush, yet close to bus and train, Coles, Safeway, lovely Yarra Valley Cafes and Restaurants with wineries abound. Schools and many other shops a short drive away. The area is mainly for young families and older couples or retirees. The local community is very friendly, and the scenery along the Warburton Hwy is beautiful.

"A good way out of Melbourne, in a lovely green area"

Out in the foothills of the Dandenongs, this quiet area is ideal for those that love the lifestyle and feel of more country areas while still being part or close to a big city.
There are a lot of shops and eateries close by and a few good places to eat so you don’t need to roam far to get what you need. It is close to major shopping centres so whatever you need you should be able to get locally.
It is not one for young professionals unless you want a bit of a commute into the city. You can easily commute to the city but it is a reasonable drive. So it would suit those that are prepared to drive and want to live out of the hustle and bustle of inner city living. Young families and those that don’t work in the city.
