"Picturesque and quiet"
It is a great little suburb with picturesque streets and near the river. Lovely small nature walks available and it is quiet plus close enough to the city. Definitely a great choice of suburb to live in

Great for families with kids, good public schools primary and high, very safe suburb, lovely neighbourhood, clean and pleasant to live in. Great value for money. We love it!!!! Highly recommend to anyone!!!

"Westlake is an absolutely beautiful, well refined and elegant suburb."
Absolutely beautiful suburb, wide tree-lined streets, big beautiful houses that are well maintained, peaceful and quiet streets, safe and friendly neighbourhood. The new restaurant and cafe precinct is lovely and once a year the jacaranda trees turn our streets the most amazing light purple colour when they drop their flowers, its very pretty! Absolutely love it here.

"Great place to call home"
Lived here for 2 years now after buying a house here and love it. Clean and friendly area, suburb seems to be well maintained. Close to the motorways if you need to get to the cbd or coast. Great shopping variety. Only thing letting it down is lack of places to eat out.

Rentals in Westlake
"Nice and quiet"
I've lived in Westlake for 5 years and wouldn't dream of moving anywhere else. It's a very quiet area and you feel quitesafe here, especially with a family. Three parks are only a stone's throw away, there's shops nearby without the noise and traffic, a scenic walking track along the river and an off-leash area for dogs. It's only a half-hour drive to the city on a good run. If you prefer suburbia over inner city living, then this is the place.

"Really like living here"
Bought a house here and really enjoy living here. Is close to the shops and there are many nice homes. Just don't buy too close to the river or down too low due to flooding. Is a quiet neighborhood.

"My favorite brisbane suburb"
Westlake has an abundance of facilities available to the area which allows us to live in such a great suburb. Beautiful... 4 years ago when I first came to Australia, Brisbane I was about to get depressed but since I moved to Westlake about 2 years ago everything changed. It's absolutely a beautiful place to leave. I am quite happy to drive 30 min each way to work everyday but live in Westlake.
