I have only lived here for 6 months but the street has a lovely feel and one of the things I like is the nice tree's that line the street. We have everything at your finger tips, schools, shopping, parks, beaches and places to eat.
Pros
- Close to everything
Cons
- Too close to factory area, but at least these were light industrial and didn't spew out fumes

Wingrove Street
"Row after row of cream brick post war homes"
Really nothing special about this street. The best thing for me was it was walking distance to Cheltenham Secondary where my kids went. Cheltenham Secondary was a great school and well thought of in the area. Walk to Southland shopping centre took 10 minutes. Safe, quiet and mostly elderly neighbourhood. Great neighbourly spirit everyone checked on elderly neighbours and friendly local shops at Bernard Street.
Close to Waves Pool where I spent a lot of time. Great family area, but now prices are exorbitant.
What I missed most here was seeing some greenery as most houses had fences and not many trees in the street. I think this is what made me want to move in the end.
Beaches were only 10 minute drive down Warrigal Rd or Charmain Rd,
