Wondecla, QLD 4887

Wondecla is basically split into two areas - Rolley Road (northern end) and Elms Road 5km further south. Despite the small distance, the soil and rainfall vary. The two areas are split by red soil farming country. If you are looking to move to the area please take the time to visit both sections - it is quite a pleasant drive. The dwellings vary between small owner built week-enders through to large brick homes on bigger acreages. The prices range dramatically from around $200,000 to $700,000 so of course does the quality and inclusions.

I travelled quite a bit and consider the climate here the most acceptable I have come across, we live at the Elms road end and the soil is quite deep red volcanic in nature and the rainfall more reliable than further north near Herberton. It is a very quiet and peaceful area comprising small & large farms and various sized rural/residential areas. It is ideal horse country and boasts a high class equestrian centre.

Residents vary from pensioners and semi-retired people to working families with kids who want to get out of town in there leisure time. The crime rate is almost non-existent and the two local policemen are friendly helpful and approachable.
