"Hidden Gem"

I have lived in Woodbridge for 18 years. It’s such a great location for young families or professionals. Beautiful parks near the swan river. Great areas to walk your pets. Fantastic location for schools, Woodbridge Primary, and Guildford Grammer , Governor Stirling high school.
Living in Woodbridge is near the major hospital and medical training facilities, major police operations facility and great access to trains.
20 min to city. Very close to major shopping centre at midland gate with some very popular retail outlets.
The community is very friendly and helpful towards neighbours. Lovely community spirt. The suburb has some beautiful well kept and restored homes. A real mix of old and new and it all blends in well. There are beautiful gardens and roses in Woodbridge are amazing. Home owners really take pride in their homes in the area.
It’s a great suburb to walk round as there are no hills it’s nice and flat.
There is a residents association and a community watch that works towards sharing information with members to keep the community safe.
There’s something so pretty and alluring about Woodbridge it also has a lot of amazing history especially around first settlers and of course the Railway Workshops.
We love our home and our beautiful suburb . It’s also only 15 min drive to Perth Airport and 10 mins drive to the beautiful vine yards in the Swan Valley.
Homes in Woodbridge are sought after and I understand the attraction 100% .

"A central suburb with a country town mentality"

I've lived in Woodbridge for just over a year now. The suburb is perfectly located on the train line. We have two awesome schools in Woodbridge and Guilford Grammar is on our border. All major hwys and freeways are a stone throw away. Midland and Guilford are our neighbouring suburbs, both locations boast beautiful cafes, restaurants and bars. Woodbridge is a family and pet friendly suburb with every one willing to have a chat at the drop of a hat. The suburb has lots of parks and beautiful walks. The City of Swan doesn't maintain the suburb, especially the older part of Woodbridge and fighting for them to clean up the area is a struggle. We do have some crime, graffiti and drug dealing seems to be our main two areas of concern. Woodbridge is under a flight path and the freight trains run through also both creating a lot of noise.

I'm happy I purchased my first home here but I do have fears in regards to selling as I don't think the suburb is desired due to its over “in kept” look by the city of swan

"Woodbridge"

I have lived in Woodbridge for 23 years and found it to be friendly and welcoming. My street is quiet but also has alot a foot trafic on weekends with families walking down the streets for a family stroll. The out look over the Swan River is amazing and the parks and walk ways are safe. There is alot of history in the old railway workshops and it is good to see that all the old buildings have not been demolished but revamped with a new building inside and the old walls left standing. It is so close to the Swan Valley with all the wineary and restaurants.
I have not driven my car into Perth in all the time I have lived here, The train is so easy and no hassels with parking. Midland has so much to offer now I don't need to travel into Perth or any other area for shopping.
Woodbridge was the old West Midland but with the name change so has so much more. Give it a go, you'll love it.
