Cheltenham Cemetary is one of Adelaide's oldest Cemetaries, having commenced operation in 1876, and represents a significant part of the history of the local Port Adelaide community.
Not surprisingly, the cemetery is host to a number of significant historical monuments to the district's early pioneers.
Recent carefully planned developments and enhancements to the cemetery have ensured burial sites are available to meet the community's needs.
The Cheltenham Cemetery is located on the corner of High Street and Port Road, and is open to the public every day of the year.
