Hi, moving to Ashmore looking at 2 schools, Ashmore State and Belleview State any thoughts?

I'm looking for a school with a caring and supportive attitude and philosophy, that won't allow my daughter ( she is in grade 3) to feel lost in the crowd but genuinely happy to be a valued part of that school. I'm interested to hear some honest personal experiences with the schools mentioned. We come from Melbourne and her previous school experience has been so positive so am hoping to find something similar here. Thank you

Hi
My son goes to Ashmore, starting year 3. We moved up from NSW. Bellevue is lots smaller than Ashmore. Both have strict catchment zone policies. Ashmore takes international students, Bellevue doesn't. The reason I didnt chose Bellevue is that my son has asthma and the school is built out of asbestos. While they have an asbestos management risk strategy, I did not want to take that chance. While there are a lot of things I miss from my old school, Ashmore is responsive to feedback but it is too big for teachers apart ftom year teavhers knowing student names. Hope this helps.
